Restoring Archives using Volume Shadow Copy Service on Windows Vista or Windows 7.1

Procedure

Open the Control Panel.
Click Back up your computer.
The Back up or restore your files screen appears.
Click Restore my files.
The Browse or search your backup for files and folders to restore screen appears.
Click Browse for files or Browse for folders, select the items that you want to back up, and then click Next.
Select the destination path and then click Restore.
The Confirmation screen appears.

What to do next

After restoring the archives files (that is, .bkf or .vhd into .iha) using the Windows Restore wizard is complete, you must restore the archives (.iha) into Historian.
