SERVICES EXPERTISE
Boosting efficiency and increasing output for our customers
Partnering with Poland for the lifecycle
Polish petroleum refiner PKN Orlen recently relied on GE Steam Power to deliver a full lifecycle power generation package for its Elektrociepłownia Plock refinery plant, one of the largest industrial refineries in Europe. The upgrade includes a new steam turbine generator set, Asset Performance Management (APM) software and Industrial Managed Services, as well as a 10-year Multi-Year Agreement (MYA).
GE will integrate the new steam turbine generator set and its auxiliaries into the existing turbine island, increasing output from 55MW to 65MW and boosting efficiency by 10%. Our APM cloud-based software will connect the unit to a remote monitoring and diagnostic center to drive improved reliability and availability. The end result? With the help of the GE team, Plock will continue to deliver stable and reliable electricity and supply heat for its own production.
