SHANNON, Ireland, February 25, 2014 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced delivery of a leased Airbus A320 to the Spanish start-up airline Evelop Airlines.
Evelop Airlines is owned by the Spanish leisure travel group Barceló and currently operates three aircraft from destinations in Europe to the Canary and Balearic Islands and serves outbound passengers from Spain to the Caribbean.

SINGAPORE, February 11, 2014 -- GE Capital Aviation Services, the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced at a press conference prior to the 2014 Singapore Air Show, it signed a contract with Myanma Airways, the flag carrier of Myanmar, to lease 10 new Boeing narrow bodies. Deliveries of the new leased aircraft are scheduled to begin in June 2015 and come from GECAS' existing order book with Boeing. The contract calls for six Boeing 737-800 models and four Boeing 737-8MAX models. The aircraft will deliver through 2020.

SINGAPORE, February 5, 2014 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced a purchase-and-leaseback transaction of four new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with Malaysian Airlines System (MAS). The first two aircraft delivered in January. The remaining two will be delivered in March and April.
MAS, the flag carrier of Malaysia, operates a fleet of more than 100 aircraft to more than 80 destinations worldwide and is a member of the oneworld alliance.

These are the first of 10 new Boeing 737-800s scheduled for delivery in 2014 on lease from GECAS as part of the airline's fleet renewal program. The 10 aircraft come from GECAS' existing order book with Boeing.
