GE Transportation, a unit of General Electric Company, has officially certified its locomotive modernization unit with the Russian Federation Railway Registrar. The certificate is issued for the TE10M #0884GE diesel-electric locomotive section, which has successfully completed winter operational tests and is now under summer operational tests at a southern Russian railway.

这是为中国电站建设项目提供的13台GE F级技术燃气轮机的首台燃气轮机。全部13台燃气轮机计划在今后15个月运出，为中国的上海地区增加共计450万千瓦的电力。中国电站燃气轮机项目是国家重点项目, 用以满足不断增长的电力需求。第一台9FA的燃气轮机将被运往浙江半山电厂。
2003年，GE同哈动力的联合体共同赢得了9 亿美元的合同，成为中国电站建设项目的两个主要设备提供商之一。今天，在哈动力厂房的燃气轮机发运庆典非常隆重。人大常委会委员长吴邦国和国家发展和改革委员会副主任张国宝等高级领导出席了庆典。
