Acquisition financing for six hotel properties
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (October 23, 2012) --- GE Capital, Franchise Finance recently provided a $49.75 million loan to affiliates of Wheelock Street Capital, LLC, for the acquisition of six hotel properties in North Carolina, Texas, and Illinois. The hotels have brand affiliations with Marriott®, Hilton® InterContinental, and Choice.
NORWALK, CT-- October 22, 2012 -- GE Capital, Restructuring Finance today announced it is administrative agent on a $150 million debtor-in-possession credit facility for Vertis Holdings, Inc., a marketing communications company. The loan will be used for working capital needs as the company continues operations under Chapter 11. GE Capital Markets served as lead arranger.
SAO PAULO, October 22, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced today it will lease four new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. as part of a purchase and leaseback transaction.
Delivery of the first aircraft from the airline's existing order book with Boeing is scheduled for December 2012.
GOL operates a fleet of 128 aircraft to more than 63 destinations in 12 countries.
SHANGHAI, October 12, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of two new Boeing 737-800s to China Eastern Airlines.
Deliveries were completed in July and September and were part of GECAS' existing order book with Boeing.
China Eastern Airlines operates a fleet of more than 300 aircraft to more than 100 destinations.

Helps new U. S. manufacturer of performance bikes build distribution network
CHICAGO -- GE Capital's Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) business has agreed to provide Motus Motorcycles with inventory financing to support the expansion of its dealer network in the U.S.
The Birmingham, AL-based manufacturer was founded four years ago to produce premium American-made sport-touring motorcycles. Recently, Motus launched production plans for the 2013 line, its first model year.
Provides funding for nine sale-leaseback locations
