GE Capital Aviation Services Delivers Two New Leased Boeing 737-800s to Pegasus Airlines

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, August 5, 2013 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of two new Boeing 737-800s to Turkish low cost carrier Pegasus Airlines following a purchase-and-leaseback transaction.

The two aircraft come from Pegasus' existing order book with Boeing and were delivered in January and June. They will expand the airline's current fleet of 45 aircraft.

Pegasus Airlines operates flights to 72 destinations in 30 countries.

GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services is acting as administrative agent and sole lender for the credit facility. The loans will be used to provide Saladax with working capital to support ongoing commercialization efforts and for other corporate purposes.
