Johannesburg, South Africa -- 03 February, 2009 - GE Energy announced today that it has signed a multi-million dollar agreement to provide Sasol with reliability and steam path efficiency upgrades of several non-condensing GE steam turbines at the company's Secunda Synfuels facility.
GE announced fourth-quarter 2008 earnings from continuing operations of $3.9 billion, or $.37 per share before preferred dividend, or $.36 per share attributable to common shareowners.
