Secured lending package spans three continents, highlights trend to customised global financing
GE Capital, the global alternative finance provider dedicated to the mid-market, announces it has provided a US$300 million cross-border financing facility to Accolade Wines, the largest wine company by volume of wine sold in Australia and the UK.
GE Aviation today announced the expansion of its maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at Brisbane airport.
The expansion of the building, as well as capital, personnel and training investment will enable the base to complete Bombardier Q400* and Bombardier Q400 NextGen*, SAAB 340 and Fokker 50 propeller repairs for regional turboprop fleets in the Asia Pacific region.
GE Mining announced that it had finalised the purchase of business assets from mining technology company, Infotronix Pty Ltd.
The transaction, which includes testing, laboratory, assembly and warehousing facilities, allows GE Mining to expand its current mining technologies business offering to bring more solutions in real time monitoring, data capture and reporting for its mining customers globally.
GE Capital announced today that it is serving as administrative agent on a $100 million multi-currency revolving credit facility for Billabong International, the Australia-based sports-apparel company. The new credit facility, which closed in December, will be used to refinance existing debt and provide working capital to support the company's growth. GE Capital Markets served as lead arranger on the facility.
GE announced fourth-quarter 2013 operating earnings of $5.4 billion, with earnings per share of $0.53, up 20% from the fourth quarter of 2012.
