SCHENECTADY, N.Y.---March 6, 2014---Building on a long-standing business relationship, GE Energy Consulting and the renewable energy department of China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI) have agreed to a three-year license arrangement allowing CEPRI to use GE's Multi-Area Production Simulation (MAPS) software. The renewable energy department of CEPRI (a subsidiary of State Grid Corporation of China) provides key technical support for the growth of renewables in the country.
