New Venture to Advance Development and Deployment of Coal Gasification Technologies in China
SHANGHAI---May 10, 2012---GE (NYSE: GE) announced today the opening of GE Shenhua Gasification Technology Company Ltd., a 50-50 joint venture (JV) with Shenhua Group to advance the development and deployment of "cleaner coal" technology solutions in China.

2012年5月10日，神华集团全资子公司中国神华煤制油化工有限公司与通用电气（中国）有限公司合资组建的通用电气神华气化技术有限公司在上海举行揭牌仪式并宣布成立，这标志着中美两国在清洁煤合作方面拉开新的序幕。双方致力于打造一家以科技研发为主业的高新技术公司，为工业和发电项目提供气化技术许可，从事与气化和清洁煤技术有关的研究，共同开发整体煤气化联合循环发电（IGCC）市场。
2009年11月17日，神华集团与通用电气签订了《关于设立气化技术合资公司的备忘录》。作为中美两国清洁煤合作的重要项目之一，股东双方在2011年胡锦涛主席访美期间签订了合资合同，并且得到中美两国相关政府部门的大力支持。经过前期商务部反垄断审查、国家工商总局核准、外经委审批，合资公司于2012年2月在上海完成注册，股东双方的持股比例均为50%。
Aberdeen, Scotland, May 9, 2012 -- ZiLift, an Aberdeen, Scotland-based provider of artificial lift solutions for the oil and gas industry, announced today that it has received a growth capital investment of £4 million (US$7 milion) from new and lead investor Energy Technology Ventures -- a GE-NRG Energy-ConocoPhillips venture -- and existing investors Energy Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures, Viking Venture, Jebsen Asset Management and Investinor.
