Özsoy, ESAS Holding Kurucu Ortağı ve Başkan Yardımcısı Emine Sabancı Kamışlı, TurkishWIN ve BinYaprak Kurucusu Melek Pulatkonak, Yazar Yonca Tokbaş gibi kadın liderliği için oldukça önemli olan isimler konuşmacı olarak yer aldı.

Ajith Kumar’a hangi patentinin en değerli olduğunu sormak, bir babaya hangi çocuğunu daha çok sevdiğini sormak gibi bir şey. Gerçi bu durumda Kumar’ın 311 çocuğu olmuş oluyor çünkü o hiç durmaksızın üreten bir mühendis. Onu biraz zorladığımızda ise favori patenti ile ilgili küçük bir bilgi almayı başarıyoruz: Bir lokomotifin her tekerleğine ayrı ayrı güç sağlayan bir teknoloji.

Industrial Cloud: GE And Microsoft Plan To ‘Go To Market Together’ With IoT Partnership

GE and Microsoft said today that starting Nov. 30, North American customers and developers using Predix, GE’s software platform for the Industrial Internet, will be able to build powerful industrial apps on Azure, Microsoft's cloud for businesses.
“It’s really two market leaders coming together to accelerate the adoption on the Industrial Internet of Things,” says Kevin Ichhpurani, GE Digital’s executive vice president in charge of ecosystem and channels. “It’s one of the biggest value drivers for customers.”

GE’s Third-Quarter Results: Navigating a Tough Cycle

Today, GE released its third-quarter results for 2017. The company reported $0.29 earnings per share, down 9 percent compared to the third quarter in 2016. Industrial cash from operating activities was $1.7 billion and industrial operating profit fell by 7 percent, organically. Orders increased 11 percent and GE returned $10 billion to shareowners so far this year through dividends and share buybacks. While a majority of the company’s businesses performed well this quarter, the results were more than offset by a decline in Power and Oil & Gas profit.

These and other new materials and technologies will help make the engine 10 percent more fuel-efficient than its predecessor, the GE90.
