TREVOSE, Pa.--Wednesday, March 17, 2010-- According to the United Nations Development Program, more than 1 billion people, or about one in six worldwide, do not have safe drinking water and more than 2 billion lack access to adequate sanitation. If current water usage trends continue, by the year 2025 two-thirds of the world's population won't have enough clean water.

COLUMBUS, Ohio--Wednesday, February 17, 2010-- GE (NYSE: GE) and Juice Technologies announced a joint development agreement to create intelligent plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) charging devices for U.S. and global markets. KANSAS CITY, MO.---Feb. 9, 2010---GE (NYSE: GE) was recently awarded a contract by Enel SpA to complete phase 6 of an 8-phase project at Enel Maritza East 3 (EME3) Thermal Power Plant in Bulgaria. During this phase, GE will convert two electrostatic precipitators (ESP) from tumbling hammer to GE's advanced top rap technology, helping to increase reliability of the unit, lower maintenance costs and achieve lower emissions. GE commenced work on the four units at this power station in 2003, in a phased approach, during the now completed rehabilitation project of the power plant.
