2014年10月24日，济宁 -- 今天，由国家卫生计生委脑卒中防治工程委员会（脑防委）、济宁市第一人民医院和GE医疗中国共同举办的“世界卒中日”系列活动宣传周济宁站正式启动。此次活动旨在提倡“早预防、早发现、早治疗”的公众“早健康”理念，重点关注中老年人及脑卒中高危弱势群体，广泛传播脑卒中防治知识，倡导健康生活方式理念，呼吁全社会加强对中老年群体健康状况的关心，营造健康的社会支持性环境。来自国家卫计委、脑防委、济宁市卫计委、济宁市梁山县及GE医疗的领导、济宁市第一人民医院专家及梁山县韩垓镇的筛查群众等共计一百余人参加了启动仪式，并以流动筛查车的方式开展了现场义诊以及专家咨询、知识教育等活动。
GE 2014关爱女性乳腺健康全国义诊活动在华西医院启动
2014年10月19日，四川成都--今天，GE 2014“关爱先行 粉红行动”关爱女性乳腺健康全国义诊活动在四川大学华西医院正式启动。启动仪式上，来自知名医疗机构的专家学者和企业代表，从乳腺癌的防治策略、乳腺体检重要性、乳腺癌的筛查和诊断等进行了多方面的深入探讨，以促进提升乳腺癌防治意识，分享乳腺健康医疗成果，共同推动乳腺癌防治。GE在启动仪式上分享了乳腺癌三级筛查网络试点项目----结果表明，采用三级筛查模式，检出率高于卫生部通报的同期全国水平；此外，GE在全球发布的关于乳腺癌风险因素认知度的调查结果显示，人们对于致密乳腺组织会增加女性患乳腺癌风险的了解还远远不足。继成都站后，义诊筛查活动还将在北京、上海、广州展开。
中国医师协会放射医师分会会长、中华医学会放射学分会前主任委员郭启勇，北京中国医学科学院、北京协和医学院肿瘤医院流行病教研室主任乔友林，中华医学会超声医学分会主任委员何文，四川大学华西医院院长李为民，GE医疗集团大中华区副总裁兼医疗系统事业部总经理郑萍，GE医疗集团大中华区首席市场营销官邱丽孟，以及来自全国各地的其他专家学者代表，义诊女性代表，共约300人参加了启动仪式。

北京，2014年10月11日--今天，GE 2014“关爱先行 粉红行动”关爱女性乳腺健康大型公益活动在北京奥林匹克森林公园开启。此次活动旨在提倡“早预防、早发现、早治疗”的早健康理念，宣传乳腺癌防治知识，并呼吁全社会加强对女性乳腺健康的关注。天坛医院放射科及乳腺科专家、乳腺癌康复组织汝康沙龙代表、GE中国职业女性协会、在京知名外企高管、社会公益倡导者及健康爱好者约200人，参加了本次活动。
世界卫生组织于今年年初发布的《2014世界癌症报告》显示，全球癌症患者不断增加，新增患者有近一半出现在亚洲，其中大部分集中在中国，而乳腺癌仍然是女性患病率最高的癌症。2014年4月，全国肿瘤登记中心发布的《2013年中国肿瘤登记年报》也指出，2013年中国女性癌症发病率明显上升，特别是乳腺癌高居我国女性恶性肿瘤发病率的第一位，每年新发病例高达21万。而早期发现以便改善乳腺癌结果和存活率，仍然是乳腺癌控制的基石。
