GE Joining High Level Partnership to Develop the Country's Renewable Energy Potential
JAKARTA, INDONESIA ---Sept. 30 2010---GE (NYSE: GE) and Indonesia's Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the joint development of renewable energy utilization, cleaner coal and energy efficiency projects to help meet Indonesia's growing power and environmental needs.

JENBACH, AUSTRIA---September 30, 2010---Mexico's largest steel galvanizing plant, owned by POSCO-Mexico, will save $6 million per year in electrical power costs and achieve power independence by using GE's (NYSE: GE) Jenbacher technology. The new nine-megawatt power generation project will use natural gas to produce POSCO-Mexico's onsite power instead of purchasing it from the grid.
