RIO DE JANEIRO -- Para atender a crescente demanda brasileira nas áreas de energia e óleo e gás, a GE acaba de anunciar que Petrópolis, na região serrana do Rio de Janeiro, receberá o primeiro centro de serviços de manutenção de turbinas aeroderivadas da companhia na América Latina. O investimento, da ordem de US$10 milhões inicialmente, permitirá que a GE atenda a demanda de seus clientes localmente, serviços que antes eram realizados em suas unidades fora do País.
