Primera Air, a low-fare Nordic airline, has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo, on lease from GECAS. Assembled and delivered Monday in Hamburg, this aircraft is the first of three from the GECAS orderbook that Airbus will deliver to the airline in 2018.

GECAS joined Boeing and West Atlantic at a ceremony at East Midlands Airport in the UK to commemorate the delivery of the first Boeing 737-800 to be converted to a cargo freighter by the OEM. GECAS, the first owner of this type, has leased the aircraft to West Atlantic Group, a cargo operator based in Sweden.
