Delta Air Lines Signs 10-Year GE90 OnPoint Solution Agreement with GE Aviation

EVENDALE, OH -- June 12, 2009 -- Delta Air Lines has signed a 10-year OnPointSM solution agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance and overhaul of the GE90-110B1L2 engines, powering its entire Boeing 777-200LR fleet.

J-AIR Signs 10-Year OnPoint Solution Agreement for Its CF34-8E Engine Fleet

TOKYO -- J-AIR Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, has signed a 10-year OnPointsm solution agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its new CF34-8E engines powering 10 Embraer ERJ170 aircraft.

Delivery of the ERJ170 aircraft to the airline began in 2008.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GE Aviation played a significant role in The Boeing Company's successful first flight of the U.S. Air Force's third C-130 Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) aircraft (the H-3) on Jan. 17, three weeks ahead of schedule. The flight marked another milestone for the most comprehensive C-130 avionics modification ever conducted.

The H3 aircraft accomplished both functional check flight and acceptance check flight tests. Boeing test pilot Mike Leone conducted the two-hour flight from the Boeing facility in San Antonio.
