Paris, France, June 17, 2015 - The GP7200 engine is exceeding performance expectations with the incorporation of the high pressure turbine (HPT) upgrade announced at the 2014 Farnborough International Airshow. The EA has delivered more than 50 of the upgraded engines and has released a retrofit kit for operators who wish to take advantage of the latest benefits.
The Volga-Dnepr Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for 20 additional GEnx-2B powered Boeing 747-8 Freighters. This order brings Volga-Dnepr’s total GEnx-2B-powered Boeing 747-8 Freighter fleet to 26 aircraft. The additional engine order is valued at more than $1.8 billion list price.

LE BOURGET - 17 June 2015 - CFM International today announced that Dublin, Ireland based aircraft leasing company Avolon selected CFM International's LEAP-1A engine to power 20 new Airbus A320neo aircraft. The engine order is valued at $590 million U.S. at list price.
Avolon has been a CFM customer since its launch in 2010 and has a committed fleet of 161 CFM-powered aircraft.
Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) selected GE Aviation’s Flight Efficiency Services (FES) for fuel management.
In addition to providing Flight Data Management (FDM) and Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) services through GE’s Flight Risk Management, GE Aviation’s Flight Analytics System will deliver their Fuel Management Solution, which will include the evaluation and analysis of flight and operational data to identify and prioritize fuel savings opportunities and enable a platform for fuel management analytics.
LE BOURGET - 16 June 2015 -AerCap Holdings N.V. today announced an order for 200 CFM LEAP-1B engines to power 100 737 MAX aircraft. The order is valued at $2.7 billion U.S. at list price.

LE BOURGET - 16 June 2015 -SMBC Aviation Capital, the world’s third largest aircraft lessors, today announced an order for CFM International’s LEAP-1B engines to power 10 additional Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, a purchase also announced today. This follows an order it placed in late 2014 for 160 LEAP-1B engines. This newest order is valued at $270 million U.S. at list price.

LE BOURGET - Lufthansa Technik AG and GE Aviation will create a new, state-of-the-art engine overhaul facility in Europe to service GEnx-2B and GE9X engines. Under terms of a memorandum of understanding (MOU), the new joint venture is expected to be operational in 2018. Closing of the joint venture is subject to receipt of required regulatory approvals.
