ATLANTA, GEORGIA (May 12, 2003) --- GE Power Systems announced today the successful completion of its acquisition of Jenbacher AG of Austria, a global manufacturer of reciprocating engines for power generation.
Over 95% of Jenbacher's outstanding shares were tendered by April 25, the end of the offer period, paving the way for GE to complete the transaction. Today's closing was the final step in the acquisition which had previously received all of the required regulatory approvals.

DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY (May 6, 2003) --- GE Wind Energy, a business unit of GE Power Systems, today announced that under a contract reactivation it will supply Energía Hidroeléctrica de Navarra, S.A. (EHN) of Spain with 200 1.5-megawatt wind turbines for use in projects being developed across Spain. Under the terms of the original agreement, GE has already supplied EHN with 33 1.5 MW wind turbines over the past year.

DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY (May 6, 2003) --- GE Power Systems will supply a PG9171E (Frame 9E) gas turbine to Enprima Engineering Ltd. of Finland, the main contractor for a power plant project in Poland.
The plant, owned by Zielona Gora S.A., a Polish energy company, is located in Zielona Gora, a city in western Poland about 160 kilometers from Berlin, Germany. When it enters commercial service in 2004, the gas-fired, cogeneration facility will produce 190 megawatts of electricity and 90 megawatts for district heating.
