FLORENCE, ITALY (September 4, 2003) --- Total Angola has awarded a contract to Thermodyn, a business unit of GE Oil & Gas, to supply complete power generation and compression equipment for a new offshore production facility to be located in the deepwater Dalia oil field, Block 17, off the coast of Angola. The new floating production storage offloading (FPSO) unit is scheduled to begin operation during the second half of 2006.

CARACAS, VENEZUELA (August 27, 2003) --- The Caruachi Hydroelectric Project under construction in southeastern Venezuela has reached two milestones, as the first two GE Hydro turbine-generators installed at the site have entered commercial service. LONDON, ENGLAND (August 21, 2003) --- GE Wind Energy and Airtricity report that construction is under way for the Arklow Bank offshore wind park, Ireland's first offshore wind power project, and is expected to be completed by the end of October.
Located about 10 kilometers off the coast of Arklow, Ireland, the project's seven GE 3.6-megawatt machines will be the world's first commercial application of offshore wind turbines over three megawatts in size.
