FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 2004--General Electric is on track for its previously announced outlook of $1.57-$1.60 in earnings per share (EPS) for 2004 and double-digit EPS growth in 2005, GE Senior Vice President and CFO Keith S. Sherin told investors at a meeting held this morning to review the company's Commercial Finance and Consumer Finance businesses.

在开工典礼前，南汽轮同通用电气和哈动力举行了签约仪式，成为合资企业的第三位股东。在新的合资企业中，GE公司拥有51%的股份，哈动力拥有41%的股份，南汽轮有8%的股份。这个合资厂是目前中国首家也是唯一为GE 9FA重型燃气轮机提供维修和现场服务的企业。

俄亥俄州埃文代尔------2004年10月14日------中国国际航空公司本周宣布了一项价值六千六百万美元的订单，购买驱动六架空中客车A319飞机所需的 CFM56-5B发动机。当新飞机2005年交货时，国航CFM驱动的A139飞机的数量将增加一倍以上。目前国航拥有五架CFM驱动的A319飞机。
CFM56-5B发动机由CFM国际公司制造，该公司是斯奈克玛发动机制造公司和GE各占50%股份的合资公司。CFM是世界领先的商用飞机发动机供应商，现正值公司成立三十周年。
CFM 的长期客户------中国国际航空公司，是中国最大的民用航空公司。除A319外，国航还拥有CFM56-3和CFM56-7发动机驱动的42架波音737飞机，和3架CFM56-5C驱动的远程4缸空中客车A340-300飞机。新型的A319将在高海拔航线上运营，比如西藏的拉萨。
