GEヘルスケアグループの日本法人であるGE横河メディカルシステム株式会社（本社：東京都日野市、社長：熊谷昭彦）は6月8日（月）、高度な自動解析機能とシンプルな操作性を両立した汎用型コンパクト心電計「MAC800（マック800）」を、クリニックから病院まで幅広い医療機関の内科・循環器科を主対象に発売します。
MAC800の最大の特長は、小型軽量ボディに、上位機種と同じ高精度心電図自動解析プログラム｢12SL｣を標準搭載しながら、シンプルかつ高い操作性を競争力のある価格で実現したこと。現在国内で発売している当社の最上位機種「MAC5500」は高性能心電計として、主に大規模医療機関で高い評価を獲得していますが、MAC800は広範な医療機関に対応し高い臨床価値をもたらします。
エンブラエル170型機に搭載されるCF34-8Eエンジン向け

GEアビエーションは、JALグループの中核航空会社としてリージョナルジェット機を運航しているジェイ・エア社との間で、ジェイ・エア社が10機の導入を予定しているエンブラエル170型機に搭載されるGE製CF34-8Eエンジンについて、10年間の整備契約（OnPoint(sm)）を締結しました。
ジェイ・エア社では、2008年よりエンブラエル170の導入を順次開始しています。
ジェイ・エア社の渡辺常務（整備担当）は次のように述べています。
「今年2月より運航を開始した最新鋭機ERJ170は今後の当社の主力機となります。従ってその搭載エンジンであるCF34-8Eの整備は非常に重要な意味を持っており、GE社にはエンジン整備の品質、信頼性、経済性に関して大きな期待をしています。」
