NEW ORLEANS, LA. and ROTORUA, NEW ZEALAND---October 5, 2010---To comply with stricter environmental requirements, Rotorua, New Zealand has selected GE's (NYSE: GE) advanced bacteriaremoving membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology for the upgrade of the city's wastewater treatment plant.
