一、英国：智能电网进入千家万户
GE能源集团正在帮助英国政府实施"能源需求研究计划"。该计划的目标是，到2020年每个家庭都安装上智能电表。
"能源需求研究计划"将智能电表当作收集及报告信息的工具，以便跟踪每天各时段的用电情况。深度研究有助于了解能影响家庭用电消耗的诸多策略的效果。
这些策略包括：通过一个显示屏告知家庭的用电量，在家里的电视机屏幕上报告用电量，可以上网查询用电情况，用电达到一定量时发出警报声，给在"用电低谷"时间用电的消费者降低电费等。
GE将在英国建立一个"欧洲智能电表示范中心"，以支持在全欧盟布署智能电网技术所需要的设计、安装及测试等事项。

ATLANTA, GA.---March 16, 2010---GE (NYSE: GE) announced the commissioning of the first Frame 6FA gas turbine supplied to the Ranhill Powertron II plant, which will be the largest and most efficient independent power plant in the state of Sabah, East Malaysia. The 190-megawatt, combined-cycle facility will provide power to support the region's rapid growth and will support the Malaysian government's energy strategy to promote cleaner and more efficient power generation.
