GE Infrastructure's GE Fanuc Automation division has recently won two significant technology innovation awards from two different leading publications for its Proficy solution.
This is according to Daniel Coetzee, Business Manager for the GE Fanuc Automation division in Sub-Saharan Africa.
These two technology innovation awards are:
"The awards add to the momentum gained by the IAN Automation Excellence Award that was given to the Proficy family back in August 2004," Coetzee maintains.

Sharjah, January 10, 2005: Today, Assist International announces the donation by GE of a water purification system that will produce at least 432,000 gallons of potable water per day in Banda Aceh, the northern Indonesian province that was the hardest hit by the tsunami.
