HOUSTON & STAMFORD, Conn.--27 February 2009-- GE Energy Financial Services, a unit of GE (NYSE: GE), has agreed to invest $150 million in a partnership with Houston-based ATP Oil & Gas Corporation (NASDAQ: ATPG) which will own and operate a floating oil and gas production unit in deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Subject to completion of customary closing conditions, GE Energy Financial Services will invest $150 million for a 49 percent limited partnership stake, its first investment in a floating oil and gas production facility.

2009年2月25日，GE中国研发中心研发的"数字心脏"技术荣获由中国领先商业期刊《第一财经周刊》主办的"炫@商业2008评选盛典"之"年度最炫技术奖"。该"数字心脏"模型模拟人类心脏，主要应用于医学设备和药物的研发，自去年12月份刊登于《第一财经周刊》技术栏目之后，深得公众的认可，被称为"用于医学试验的人性化发明"。
