EC and DoJ decisions pave the way to complete GE’s largest-ever industrial acquisition
Brussels, Belgium - September 8, 2015 - GE [NYSE:GE] was informed today that the European Commission (EC) has approved the proposed Alstom power and grid deal and that the Department of Justice has also filed a proposed consent decree that would permit the acquisition to close. These clearances pave the way for GE to complete the transaction as early as possible in the fourth quarter.
BETHESDA, MD, SEPT. 2, 2015 - GE Capital’s Healthcare Financial Services (HFS) business announced today that it served as administrative agent on a $55 million senior credit facility to recapitalize the Community Intervention Services, Inc. (CIS) balance sheet, support CIS’s acquisition of Futures Behavior Therapy Center, LLC and provide additional capacity for targeted acquisitions. GE Capital Markets served as sole lead arranger and bookrunner on the transaction.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - August 21, 2015 - GE [NYSE:GE] announced today that it has completed the previously announced sale of its U.S. Sponsor Finance business and a bank loan portfolio, representing aggregate ending net investment (ENI) of approximately $10 billion, to Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) in a transaction valued at more than $11 billion.
CHICAGO - Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), a business of GE Capital, announced today that it has been selected by Bush Hog, Inc., a leading North American manufacturer of rotary cutters, to provide financing solutions to its U.S. dealer network.
CDF will provide Bush Hog dealers with a supplemental inventory financing program sometimes referred to as a “rollover program”. This “rollover program” will allow Bush Hog dealers another source of capital to finance their Bush Hog inventory coming due with the supplier.
