WARSAW, POLAND---March 1, 2011---GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) Senior Vice President of New Plant Projects Danny Roderick addressed the Polish parliament's joint committee on energy today, highlighting the company's advanced nuclear reactor technologies and commitment to Poland. NORWALK, Conn.--25 February 2011-- GE Capital today announced it is administrative agent for a $150 million asset-based credit facility for Tourneau, the world's largest retailer of fine watches. The financing will be used for working capital purposes. GE Capital Markets served as sole lead arranger of the facility.
SHANNON, Ireland, February 25, 2011 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced the delivery of a new Airbus A320 to Air Berlin as part of a purchase and leaseback transaction.
Air Berlin, the third-largest low-cost airline in Europe, operates a fleet of 170 aircraft to more than 168 destinations in 40 countries.
