行业领袖聚集上海 共谋中国绿色地产可持续发展
2012年3月26日，北京 -- "十二五"期间，我国将积极推广可持续发展模式，促进各行业的全面健康发展。房地产作为国民经济发展的重要支柱之一，如何在高速发展中节约有限的资源，减少房地产行业对环境造成的影响，已经成为国家和社会发展中最热议的话题之一。日前，来自开发商、投资商与承租方团体的100多位高级代表齐聚上海通用电气中国科技园，共同商讨减少房地产行业对环境影响的各种举措，为我国的房地产行业的碳减排献计献策。
该峰会由通用电气公司、世邦魏理仕与中信资本共同主办。来自中国政府的相关领导将发表主题讲话，对我国的可持续发展政策路线，尤其是"十二五"规划中有关能源与环境方面的政策进行阐述和说明，并解读住房和城乡建设部出台的"中国绿色建筑"实施规划。
Qatar; March 25 2012 : GE Volunteers Qatar have partnered with the Qatar Green Center, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Environment, to support a greener environment through the new project, 'My School, My Farm,' which started from December 2011 and projected to end in April 2012.
'My School, My Farm' aims to strengthen awareness on the need to inculcate homestead farming and other easy-to-apply agricultural practices among the students. GE Volunteers collaborates with 12 schools in Qatar, working with students from primary to secondary levels for the project.
Funds acquisition
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--23 March 2012-- GE Capital, Franchise Finance provided a $30 million credit facility to Shelton Restaurant Group, LLC, a Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen franchisee. The financing is being used to acquire 29 Popeyes units in the Lafayette, Louisiana area. The funding was provided through GE Capital's bank affiliate, GE Capital Financial Inc.

GE航空集团全球客户可获取符合ICAO要求的数字式地形和障碍物数据
2012年3月6日-阿姆斯特丹/西雅图，华盛顿-GE航空集团与GeoEye公司签署协议，由GeoEye为航空业提供符合ICAO要求的地形和障碍物航空数据，这些数据将来自GeoEye的高精度地球成像技术。本周，GE在阿姆斯特丹举行的ATC全球会议上展示了这项技术。
依据此项协议，GE将提供ICAO附件 15-2中的地形和障碍物数据库来支持全球新一代基于性能导航（PBN）航路的发展。这种数字化详尽的地形及障碍物地图采集于目前世界上一些精度最高的商用地球成像卫星，将支持世界各地的机场、航空公司和民航监管部门向PBN转型。
London, 22 March, 2012: GE Capital has bolstered its European Corporate Aircraft Finance business, with the creation of several new roles and internal appointments. The changes include a new dedicated management team for Corporate Aircraft Finance -- Matthias Mueller will remain Commercial Leader and is joined by David Maher who is appointed to Chief Credit Officer and Colin Reid, who extends his remit as Asset Management Leader to include Corporate Aircraft Finance.
