GE Capital Aviation Services to Lease Four New Boeing 737-800 Aircraft to Malaysian Airlines System (MAS)

SINGAPORE, February 5, 2014 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced a purchase-and-leaseback transaction of four new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with Malaysian Airlines System (MAS). The first two aircraft delivered in January. The remaining two will be delivered in March and April.

MAS, the flag carrier of Malaysia, operates a fleet of more than 100 aircraft to more than 80 destinations worldwide and is a member of the oneworld alliance.

Mid-size American companies grew their revenues five times faster than their much larger counterparts in the S&P 500 and posted a five percent revenue growth in 2013, according to the latest survey of the business segment.
