GE Capital Aviation Services Delivers New Airbus A321 to Thomas Cook

SHANNON, Ireland, June 23, 2015 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, today announced delivery of a new leased Airbus A321 aircraft to the Thomas Cook Group.

This is the ninth of nine new A321 aircraft GECAS delivered to Thomas Cook in 2014 and 2015 as part of the airline’s previously announced program to renew and modernize its narrowbody fleet.

Research from GE Capital’s latest Company Car Trends research

Sale, Manchester, 2015: Reliability, whole life costs and CO2 emissions head the list of factors considered essential by company car operators when setting fleet policies, according to the latest quarterly Company Car Trends research from GE Capital Fleet Services.

Topping the list for more than half (53%) of the respondents questioned was reliability, although almost as many (48%) opted for whole life costs.

CFM order backlog continues strong growth in 2015
