GE Engines to Power Royal Air Force of Oman Aircraft US$50 Million Contract for GE F110 Engines

Dubai, UAE, May 7, 2002 ---- GE Aircraft Engines has won a contract to supply GE F110 fighter engines to the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). The new engines will power the RAFO's new fleet of 12 Lockheed Martin F-16 aircraft.

The contract, valued at more than US$50 million, makes Oman the 10th country in the world to select the F110 engine family for its F-16 fighter fleet.
