Dubai, 22 January, 2006: GE Healthcare today introduced a new premium 1.5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance (MR) scanner at Arab Health 2006. The scanner allows radiologists to see critical areas of MR images previously compromised by challenging patient conditions. GE Healthcare also introduced a 3.0 Tesla premium MR scanner, continuing GE's leadership in the development of 3.0T MR technology since it installed the first-ever clinical 3.0T MR system in 1993.

Dubai, 22 January, 2006: GE Healthcare today announced the launch of a new series of performance scanners, called BrightSpeedTM. Introduced in the Middle East at the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2006 in Dubai, the new series of Computed Tomography (CT) systems includes much of the proven advanced technology available on the company's Volume CT system - the LightSpeed VCT now available in a smaller package.
