Innovative Design Captures and Retains Debris to Reduce Risk of Fuel Failure
WILMINGTON, NC-March 31, 2016-The first GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) Feedwater Debris Strainer is now operating at the Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant in Forsmark, Sweden. The strainer was recently installed with only minor piping changes and has performed as designed since the plant returned to service following a refueling outage.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - November 4, 2015 - GE (NYSE: GE) announced today that it has completed the previously announced sale of its European fleet services business, representing aggregate ending net investment (ENI) of approximately $2.8 billion, to Arval, a fully owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas.
“We are pleased to complete the sale of our European fleet services business to Arval,” said Keith Sherin, GE Capital chairman and CEO. “It is another important step as we continue to execute on our plan to sell most of the assets of GE Capital.”
The Volga-Dnepr Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for 20 additional GEnx-2B powered Boeing 747-8 Freighters. This order brings Volga-Dnepr’s total GEnx-2B-powered Boeing 747-8 Freighter fleet to 26 aircraft. The additional engine order is valued at more than $1.8 billion list price.
