Commitment to purchase 75 737 MAX 8s and 25 Next-Generation 737-800s
FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom July 10, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric (NYSE: GE), announced today at the Farnborough International Airshow a commitment to purchase 75 737 MAX 8s and 25 Next-Generation 737-800s from Boeing (NYSE: BA).
STAMFORD, Conn., July 3, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of a leased Boeing 737-300SF freighter to a new customer, Northern Air Cargo.
The aircraft will be used to upgrade and expand Northern Air Cargo's fleet.
SHANGHAI, June 27, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced it will lease 10 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to China Southern Airlines as part of the airline's fleet renewal program.
The 10 aircraft come from GECAS' existing order book with Boeing and are scheduled for delivery in 2014.
China Southern has been a GECAS customer since the early 1990s. It is one of the largest airlines in Asia with a fleet of more than 400 aircraft flying to more than 200 destinations.
SHANNON, Ireland, June 19, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of a leased Airbus A320 to Hamburg Airways Luftverkehrsgesellschaft mbH to help expand the carrier's fleet.
Since its startup in early 2011, Hamburg Airways has provided scheduled and charter service to destinations from its base at Hamburg Airport.

HONG KONG, June 11, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of a new Airbus A320 to Japanese low-cost carrier Star Flyer to expand its fleet.
Star Flyer operates passenger service to destinations in Japan with an all-Airbus fleet that features leather seats, in-flight entertainment and extra legroom.

SHANGHAI, June 4, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of a leased Airbus A320 to Chengdu Airlines to expand the airline's fleet.
GECAS was one of the first lessors to work with the airline, which started operations as United Eagle Airlines in 2005. Today, GECAS leases nine aircraft to the carrier, which operates domestic passenger service from its base in the capital of the Sichuan Province.
SINGAPORE, May 30, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of three new Airbus A320 aircraft to Airphil Express in March, April and May to help the carrier expand its fleet.
All three aircraft are part of GECAS' existing order book with Airbus. The airline carried 4 million passengers in 2011, recording a year-on-year increase of 122 percent. AirPhil Express projects it will carry close to 8 million passengers in 2012.
SINGAPORE, May 16, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced it will lease 12 Boeing 737-500s to help the Indonesian carrier Sriwijaya Air upgrade its fleet.
The first aircraft went into service today, with the remaining scheduled for delivery through January 2013. The 12 aircraft, with blended winglets for improved fuel savings, are coming off long-term lease with Continental Airlines, now merged with United Airlines.

The aircraft comes from GECAS' existing order book with Airbus and will be used to modernize the airline's fleet.

TAIPEI, Taiwan, May 8, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, today signed an agreement to lease four new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to EVA Airways.
Delivery of the aircraft from GECAS' existing order book with Boeing is scheduled for 2014.
