战略进军家用医疗和睡眠治疗市场
中国北京， 2009年3月27日- 通用电气公司 （纽约证券交易所： GE） 旗下拥有170亿美元年收入的GE医疗集团今日宣布，将向中国推出家用呼吸和睡眠护理解决方案，从而进军中国家用医疗市场。这些家用医疗解决方案将由GE医疗所收购的Vital Signs公司及其子公司Breas（博雅）医疗提供。
Vital Signs公司是一家全球性医疗产品供应商，该公司业务范围广泛，涉及麻醉、呼吸、睡眠治疗及急救药品等领域。Vital Signs公司拥有广泛的供单个病人使用的创新产品组合，其产品拥有显著的成本优势，能够极大地改善病人的护理状况，包括减少疾病的传播与感染。"单个病人使用"技术能够有效帮助减少病人因医院感染而导致的死亡几率。Vital Signs公司的产品更好地补充加强GE医疗在麻醉、病人监护及急性呼吸护理市场上已有的领先优势。
NORWALK, Conn.--16 March 2009-- GE Capital's Healthcare Financial Services business today announced an $89 million senior credit facility provided to Vesta Inc., a RoundTable Healthcare Partners portfolio company. A portion of the proceeds was used to complete the acquisition of ExtruMed LLC.
ExtruMed is an independent manufacturer of high precision thermoplastic tubing for diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices and procedures.

苏州，2008年10月30日，GE医疗在"第60届中国国际医疗器械博览会(CMEF)"上，全球首度发布由中国自主研发的全新一代专业应用型产品------玲龙®DR（数字化X光机）。这也是继推出玲龙®XR6000拍片机之后，GE在玲龙®系列中的又一力作。
据了解，此款产品革命性地采用了专利整板核心技术，实现无拼接缝，使图像达到了最优的成像效果。同时，此款产品还采用整体机一体化的设计，整机设计紧凑，实现安装空间最小化和曝光控制及参数的最优化，并达到最佳的电磁兼容性。
此款玲龙®DR产品采用的移动式平板探测器，既可满足立式胸片架、固定摄影床的数字X线摄影，又可完成担架、轮椅等特殊患者离床数字化摄影的需要，真正实现了临床对"无盲区"数字化摄影的需要，体现了快速、灵活、便捷的人性化设计理念。更值得一提的是，在产品设计上此款产品还引入了绿色创想设计理念，最大限度地减少了对于病人及医护人员的X射线辐射，进一步保证了病人和医生的健康。
