A Burst of Wind for Upstate New York
GE Vernova will invest $50 million at its Schenectady, New York, facility and hire about 200 employees for a new manufacturing assembly line for its onshore wind business. Read how the Inflation Reduction Act played a role in the new line, which will make three key components for its 6.1-megawatt turbine.
