Romanian and US government ministers notified of contract at Romanian joint commerce meeting
MOSCOW (March 11, 2003) --- GE Power Systems today announced a major contract with Transelectrica SA, the transmission grid operator of Romania, for 102 Remote Terminal Units (RTU) valued at EUR4.8 million. The contract was recognized at a recent event in Romania attended by Mr. Dan Ioan Popescu, minister of Industry and Resources, US Assistant Secretary of Commerce Mr. William Lash and US Ambassador Mr. Michael Guest, GE reported at
