Bangalore 29 October, 2007 --- General Electric's largest multi-disciplinary center outside of the US, The John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC), has announced the appointment of Rajagopalan (Raj) Raghavan as its Human Resources Leader.
In his new role as HR leader for GE-JFWTC, Raj will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources and Communications for the center.
Prior to joining GE-JFWTC, Raj was the HR Leader for Global Services in India at the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank. Raj is not new to GE, he spent six years with GE Capital International Services (now Genpact), leading HR for the Hyderabad site which had the enviable combination of the highest employee survey scores, lowest attrition and highest employee referrals percentage.
Raj is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years in various aspects of Human Resource Management. His experience spans a wide range of expertise including Organization Development and Training, client HR for Sales and IT and HR leadership of large organizations.
Raj holds degrees in Economics from the University of Madras and Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Madras School of Social Work
