New London Aviation Unit Established by GE Frankona Re; Move Aimed at Delivering Enhanced Customer Service LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2002--GE Frankona Re announced the formation of a new London-based Aviation Unit, in a move aimed at enhancing service to the aviation market.
The new unit will focus on providing re/insurance (hull and liability) to smaller airlines, minor aviation-product manufacturers, airports and re-fuellers in addition to the general aviation business. Servicing these additional target groups, GE Frankona Re considerably extends the range of expertise it offers.
Based in London, this unit will be able to maintain closer contact with brokers than before, thus providing the necessary expertise right upfront. With this move, GE Frankona Re is responding to the increasingly demanding requirements of the aviation market, which has been particularly affected by the September 11th events.
