CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GE Fanuc Automation, a unit of GE Industrial, today announced that its 2007 Discover Users Conference will be held at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel and Suites in St. Louis, Missouri on October 22 -- 25, 2007. The 3-day conference will highlight best practices in technology, manufacturing and business.
"Feedback from our past conferences has been outstanding," said Maryrose Sylvester, President and CEO of GE Fanuc. "It is an important venue for customers to share experiences and best practices. We are confident this year's meeting will provide even more opportunities for this exchange of ideas."
A broad range of training will be available in the hands-on workshops with products ranging from controllers to Proficy® software to motion control and CNC solutions. Also, this year's Discover Café will provide added opportunities for hands-on experience and education.
The Technology Showcase will feature a full GE Fanuc demonstration area staffed by GE Fanuc experts, and solutions offered by Premier Solution Providers, integrators and complementary technologies from sponsors.
In addition, GE Fanuc customers will be honored at the event with the Automation Discovery Awards, symbols of GE's corporate philosophy, "imagination at work." And, the conference will conclude with a lively interactive "Town Meeting" discussion with customers, GE Fanuc executives, product managers and engineers.
Last year's conference drew more than 600 attendees including end users, OEMs, systems integrators and Premier Solution Providers, and focused on solutions to help users increase productivity, maximize efficiency and raise quality standards to unprecedented new levels.
