Karen C. Tripp Assumes Communications Leadership Role At GE Aircraft Engines EVENDALE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 2002--Karen C. Tripp has formally assumed the position of general manager, global communications, for GE Aircraft Engines (GEAE).

In this newly created role, Ms. Tripp leads all aspects of the company's communications, and reports directly to David Calhoun, president and chief executive officer at GEAE. Before joining GEAE, Ms. Tripp had served as vice president of communications at Rockwell Collins since 1997. Prior to that position, she served in roles of increasing responsibility in several aviation industry businesses.
