His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, today toured the pavilion of GE at the 2012 Water, Energy, Technology & Environment Exhibition (WETEX) conference, being held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed by senior GE executives on the company's innovative portfolio of advanced energy and water technology solutions designed to support the UAE meet its growing energy needs, including the FlexEfficiency 50 Combined Cycle power plant, which can integrate renewable energy and achieve up to 70% efficiency. In addition, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan was also provided an overview of GE's growing energy investment and training commitment to the country.
