Dubai, UAE; July 9 , 2013: GE (NYSE: GE) announced that Group Florence Nightingale, one of the prestigious private chains in Turkey, has chosen GE Healthcare technology for the expansion of its new building in Istanbul. GE Healthcare's installed systems include cutting-edge IT solutions, MR, CT, Angio systems, ICU and OR solutions.
The new hospital represents an important teleradiology center of excellence in Turkey and in the region. Utilizing GE's Image Exchange radiology IT solutions, it has the IT capability to transmit and receive clinical images, enabling clinicians anywhere in the world to connect and provide clinical opinions on critical patients' cases.
