GE's Specialty Insurance Business Names National Sales Leader CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 8, 2002--GE Employers Reinsurance Corporation (ERC) named Nicholas D. Gassman, ARM, CIC, as Vice President of Sales for its specialty insurance group.
The specialty insurance group is comprised of Coregis Insurance Company and Westport Insurance Corporation, and insures non-medical professionals, schools, public entities and special districts throughout the United States.
Nick Gassman is responsible for growth initiatives of Coregis and Westport specialty programs nationwide. He has over 23 years experience in the industry.
Nick is a valuable addition to our organization, said Michael J. Gill, President of GE ERC's specialty insurance group, headquartered in Chicago. Nick will be instrumental in the expansion, profitability and success of our public entity programs and our non-medical professional liability programs.
Nick is well known by many of our business partners throughout the country. As a result of his relationships and experience, we look forward to building more customer-focused programs in our specialty business.
Prior to joining GE ERC, Nick held several senior management positions in Sales and Marketing. Most recently, he was Vice President of Business Development for Association Group Insurance Administrators, Inc (AGIA). He was previously Vice President of Business Development with Target Capital Partners, Inc., and Senior Vice President of Sales and Agency Development with Willis Specialty Programs (PLUM).
Nick holds a B.S. B.A. in Marketing and Management from Creighton University. He lives in Chanhassen, a Minneapolis suburb, with his family.
