FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2002--General Electric has announced the appointment of two new company officers.
Brian Gladden, 37, is Vice President, Finance for GE Plastics, serving in this role since August 2002. Gladden joined GE in 1988. A graduate of GE's Financial Management Program, he has also spent five years on the Corporate Audit Staff, and has held positions in engineering, finance, and business development at GE Aerospace, GE Medical Systems and GE Plastics. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Millersville University.
Dee Mellor, 45, is Vice President and General Manager, Global Supply Chain at GE Medical Systems. She assumed this role in September 2002. Mellor joined GE in 1978, graduating from GE's Manufacturing Management Program (MMP). She has held various leadership positions at GE Aircraft Engines and GE Medical Systems during her 24-year tenure. She is a 1978 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research.
