GECAS announces delivery of a new Boeing 737 to Air China

SHANNON, IRELAND July 7, 2010 . -- GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) today announced the delivery of a new Boeing 737-800 (serial number 36548) to Air China to help with the carrier's fleet expansion.

The aircraft come from GECAS' existing order book with Boeing and is one of 27 aircraft GECAS currently leases to the airline. Air China, the flag carrier based in Beijing, currently has a fleet of 264 aircraft.
