April 30, 2007

On Thursday, May 3, 2007, GE Water & Process Technologies' 14-city World Water Tour will kick off in Las Vegas -- addressing water challenges and bringing new technologies and solutions to create and sustain national and regional water supplies.

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Recent drought conditions along the Colorado River highlight the serious challenges that limited water resources present to Nevada and to the six other states that share the Colorado River as a water resource. Presented with the challenge of securing and sustaining adequate water supplies for present and future needs, Nevada is also burdened with being the driest state and the fastest growing state in the nation. Effectively balancing growth and water resources is a pressing priority for Nevada, and for many other areas of the Southwest.
