GE Thailand Co., Ltd. recently took part in the flood relief efforts by installing 6 water treatment units (equipped with GE's reverse osmosis and filtration system), worth of 1 million Baht. Each unit has the capacity to produce 500liters of water per hour, 12,000 liters per day. The units were installed in the hardest hit areas in Amphur Thairue, Ayudhaya, Bung Namrak and Bang Nam Priew of Chanchengsao, Banglen and Salaya of Nakornpathom. More than 10,000 households, around 40,000 people who have been affected will now have drinkable water.

Pictures shown: GE Volunteers together with IRPC filled up 10,000 1.5 liter bottles with drinking water and other living necessities to the local administration in Ayutthaya Province to be distributed in hard to reach area.
