Dubai, UAE; April 16, 2011: To drive the sustainable development initiatives of the region, GE (NYSE: GE) is putting the spotlight on smart grid technologies and innovative solutions that help generate electricity from landfill gases at the Dubai Global Energy Forum, to be held from April 17 -- 19 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Forum aims to provide a platform for over 500 global and regional energy leaders and experts to exchange views on emerging regional and global issues related to energy policies, programs and technologies.
